Ⅰ. Conference Introduction

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology plans to hold the “Silk Road International Conference on Architecture and Technology” in Xi’an from October 19 to 21, 2023. The conference aims to promote exchanges and cooperation among universities, enterprises, and institutions in the field of architecture and technology along the Silk Road, advance technological progress in the industry, jointly build a better living environment for humanity, enhance the well-being of people along the Silk Road. With the theme of “Building a Better Home for All”, the conference invites leaders and experts from over 50 universities and leading enterprises in more than 20 countries along the Silk Road, as well as officials from relevant government departments, to carry out exchanges and discussions on key areas such as scientific research, talent training, discipline construction, cultural inheritance and social services. The conference will initiate the “Silk Road International Alliance of Architectural and Technological Universities (SRIAATU)”, announce “Xi’an Consensus” and issue the “Silk Road International Architecture and Technology Development Blue Book”. A series of side events will be held, including Presidents’ Forum of Architectural Universities along the Silk Road and High-end Lectures.
